I can only agree with Diana, winter is most definitely here!
How can you tell winter is coming - yes, we've actually got time to start blogging again, although happily the reason for the lack of blogs has been pressure of work, so we shouldn't complain.
If we haven't been blogging for a while, we can definitely blame it on the weather. With daytime temperatures approaching 40 degrees most days in the last couple of weeks, everyone's energy is totally sapped.
This is a photo of the village shop in the square at Lakones. A veritable treasure trove and a step into the past for visitors more used to Tesco or Sainsburys.
We spent Thursday evening wandering in Corfu town. The highlight of the visit was a Baroque music concert given by students at the Music School of the Ionian University.
