Description
Kalithea is on the edge of Chlomos - one of our most famous villages in the south of Corfu. Chlomos is famous for its stunning views and picturesque buildings.
Kalithea is built in the very old traditional style in that the bedrooms and bathroom are on the lower floor [ to keep cool for sleeping] and the open plan living area is on the upper floor, giving the maximum impact for the view!
There are two entrances to the house, one on the ground floor leading into one of the bedrooms and one on the upper level leading into the main living area. There are two double bedrooms on the lower floor and a good-sized shower room and WC, with traditional marble shelving.
Upstairs, it is all about the amazing view. The living, dining and kitchen are all in one large room with two windows and French doors to access the lovely balcony with a table and chairs for dining or just chilling. Back inside, there is a wood burner to give heat for all-year-round living.
To the rear of the house is a raised terrace with sunbeds and space to have a BBQ. The house is sold fully furnished.
Kalithea is unique in the fact that although it is a traditional style village house, it has private parking for two cars right next to it.
Balis Taverna is just a few minutes walk and the amenities and beaches of Moraitika and Messonghi are a 10 minute drive.
