A short walk from the end of the main beach brings you to the nature reserve which is a protected area for wildlife and flowers (wild orchids in particular), there is also a derelict monastery hidden amongst the trees. Walking in the other direction from the beach you will find another small cove with a restaurant with a children's play area and night club.
