Description

The property has a wealth of tradition behind it, and some of the art in the house documents the history through the centuries. The renovation was completed in co-operation with the archeological society.

The main entrance to the first section of the house is through an arched gateway, into a cobbled courtyard, with the cobbles defining the pattern of a clock. The huge entrance door leads into an open plan hall/living area with a fireplace. One door leads into the second part of the house, and from the living room there is access to the dining room and kitchen. The kitchen has doors both to the wide veranda overlooking the garden, and also steps leading to second door opening into a small garden.

Stairs lead to the upper floor with a further living room with fireplace, a bright library/office and a spacious bedroom with 2 entrance doors (this could be converted into 2 separate bedrooms). The large family bathroom is also on this floor. It would also be possible to utilise the library room as a further bedroom. The hall has doors onto a traditional 'bodzo' balcony over looking the courtyard and into the village.

The second section of the house, dates back to the 16th Century, and has two bedrooms, living room, kitchen all on one level, and doors into the courtyard garden. This part of the house also has a guest cloakroom.

The garden at the side of the house has 2 levels and is laid to lawn, plants and shrubs, with a store cottage on the lower level. There is plenty of space for the construction of a swimming pool if desired. From the garden steps lead down to the lower area of land, which has been left in its natural state. There is parking at the entrance of the house.

The village has a small shop/coffee shop, and supermarkets are available in Roda or Sidari, both approximately 15 minutes drive away. The lovely beach at Astrakeri is also 10 - 15 minutes drive.
