Description

This is a very interesting old historic property, partly connected to the bell tower of the church next door.

On two levels, the original front door leads into a large room on the first floor. From here two double bedrooms are to one side and a bathroom is at the other end. In one corner of the room is a woodburning stove.

A wooden staircase leads from the upper hallway down to a stone flagged room, with heavy wooden beams adding to the atmosphere, this was originally used as a living room. An archway leads from this room to the dining room, which has patio windows leading out to the garden. A couple of steps down from the dining room is the large family kitchen; the units have all been removed so this is now an empty space.

Outside there is a large sun terrace which is accessed from the living room. In the summer time this is totally private, as the nearby trees give cover. From the dining room doorway is another shadier spot to sit, and a pretty garden wraps around the edge of the house and leads down to a parking space.

This is a very old house, with extremely thick stone walls so it remains cool in the summer and keeps warm in the winter.

The current owner has started work to the property but it has not been completed. A new heating system has been installed and is visible at one end of the 'Living room'. Also extra insulation has been added to the ceiling upstairs which needs finishing. The project was unfortunately cut short and needs completing.
