A year in review at Corfuhomefinders
Mon, 22nd Dec 2025As another year comes to an end, we pause and reflect not only on what we’ve achieved, but on the people and journeys that shaped the year. At Corfuhomefinders, this year was about guiding people through confident, well-informed property decisions in Corfu, whether buying, selling, relocating, or planning their future on the island.
The Corfu property market continues to evolve, especially following recent changes in residency and investment schemes. Despite this shifting landscape, the year proved to be a strong and encouraging one, confirming that genuine demand for Corfu remains rooted in lifestyle, long-term value, and trust – not trends alone. We invite you to learn more about the year went for us at Corfuhomefinders. We hope that these reflections will help you to understand better why we’re one of the best companies to partner with when it comes to real estate.

1. A year defined by resilience and steady growth
This year, we saw higher overall sales activity compared to the previous year, a particularly meaningful result given the reduced appeal of Golden Visa–driven purchases. Transactions were driven by buyers with a genuine interest in living in, investing in, or committing long-term to Corfu.
Sales activity followed a familiar rhythm: most enquiries began in late winter and spring, with many buyers returning during the summer months to complete viewings and final decisions. While July and August are often quieter in terms of new enquiries, they remain busy months for follow-up visits and completions, especially for clients who began their search earlier in the year.
Key insight: Successful outcomes often reflect months of preparation, not just the moment a deal is completed.
2. Property types and budgets
This year’s activity reflected a well-balanced market across different property types and price ranges. The majority of transactions involved residential properties, including both permanent homes and villas, while land purchases continued to attract buyers planning future builds. Interest spanned a wide spectrum:
✓ Entry-level buyers and first-time investors seeking opportunities with defined budgets.
✓ A strong core of buyers looking in the mid-range market for relocation or second homes.
✓ High-value purchases driven primarily by long-term investment strategies.
Key insight: This diversity highlights Corfu’s ability to appeal to different lifestyles and financial goals – from practical relocations to premium investments.

3. Buyer profiles
Buyer motivations varied clearly by budget and experience. Clients with higher budgets were typically well-prepared, familiar with international property purchases, and decisive once the right opportunity appeared. On the other hand, many buyers entering the market at lower price points required more detailed guidance, as Corfu represented their first overseas or investment purchase.
Key insight: This reinforced the importance of tailored support, adjusting the level of explanation, due diligence, and planning according to each client’s background and expectations.
4. A global client base with a focus on Europe
The vast majority of buyers this year were international, with a strong concentration from European countries. Interest from buyers seeking Golden Visa routes has declined, while lifestyle- and investment-driven enquiries from within Europe remained consistent.
We also continued to work with investors from outside the EU, particularly those viewing Corfu as a stable, long-term destination rather than a short-term opportunity.
Local sellers, mainly Greek, formed the backbone of the supply side, alongside returning clients who had previously bought through us and were now looking to move or reinvest.
Key insight: A mix of international buyers and local sellers continues to shape a dynamic and well-functioning market.

5. Our main role
A significant part of our work this year involved supporting clients well beyond the initial property search. Roughly half of buyers required extensive guidance, particularly those entering the market for the first time or working with tighter budgets. This included:
✓ Explaining local processes and realistic timelines.
✓ Coordinating with lawyers, engineers, and notaries.
✓ Advising on renovation, future use, or resale considerations.
Key insight: For many clients, this level of support proved just as valuable as finding the right property itself.
6. Enhanced marketing and Brand presence
This year marked an important step forward in how we present properties and communicate with our audience. We invested heavily in quality over quantity, focusing on clearer messaging, stronger visuals, and more informative content. Key developments included:
✓ Increased engagement across social media platforms.
✓ Higher website traffic and newsletter readership.
✓ Expanded use of professional photography and property tours.
✓ Launching our YouTube channel for in-depth walkthroughs.
✓ Continuing our trusted cooperation with Hamptons while using their communication channels to gain global visibility.
✓ Moving into a larger office in Acharavi to support our growing activity.
Key insight: These efforts helped attract more informed, serious enquiries and strengthened recognition of the Corfuhomefinders brand locally and internationally.

7. Trust, collaboration, and long-term relationships
At the heart of every transaction is trust. This year reaffirmed the importance of honest advice, realistic expectations, and strong collaboration with local professionals. Many of our transactions were built on long-standing relationships, with clients returning, recommending us, or continuing their journey with new projects.
Key insight: We remain deeply grateful for the trust placed in us and for the partnerships that make smooth and transparent transactions possible.
8. What’s next?
As we move forward, our focus remains unchanged:
✓ Clear, honest guidance.
✓ Thoughtful support tailored to each client.
✓ Long-term value over short-term results.
Key insight: Corfu continues to attract people looking for more than just property, they’re looking for a way of life. Our role is to help them reach it with confidence.
